PLC Allen-Bradley 1791

Bulletin 1791DS and 1791ES CompactBlock™ Guard I/O™ modules provide the advantages of distributed I/O for safety systems. These modules work with safety controllers that communicate on DeviceNet™ or EtherNet/IP™ networks using CIP™ Safety. CompactBlock Guard Safety I/O is optimized to work with GuardPLC™, GuardLogix®, and SmartGuard™ controllers.

Features

  • Includes TÜV certification as a system with GuardLogix®, GuardPLC™ 1600 and 1800, and SmartGuard™ 600 controllers
  • Supports both standard and safety control
  • Includes 24V DC I/O circuits with built-in power supply
  • Offers point-level diagnostics for troubleshooting of all input and output circuits
  • Includes removal and insertion under power (RIUP), when following appropriate safety practices
  • Offers DIN-rail mounting and removable terminals for easy installation and maintenance
  • Includes common power and I/O wiring
  • Offers additional standard solid-state outputs for any unused safety inputs
  • Compatible with Allen-Bradley® Guardmaster® safety devices

1791DS CompactBlock™ Guard I/O™ for DeviceNet

  • Compatible with safety controllers that communicate on DeviceNet™ using CIP™ Safety
  • Includes 4…16 single-channel safety inputs and 4…16 standard pulse test outputs
  • Some blocks include four or eight safety solid-state outputs, single- or dual-channel or four single-channel safety relay outputs

1791ES CompactBlock Guard I/O for EtherNet/IP

  • Compatible with safety controllers that communicate on EtherNet/IP™ using CIP Safety
  • Includes single- or dual-channel safety inputs (16 single/8 dual or 8 single/4 dual) and 8 or 16 standard pulse test outputs
  • Some blocks include four dual-channel safety outputs
