Built-in connector saves space
This greatly reduces the amount of space taken up compared to previous models.
The dimension between the beam axis and cable bending part has been reduced to half at maximum.


Can be connected using commercially-available connectors
The connector connection type eliminates the extra work of soldering and insulation processing. In addition, the connector used is a commercially-available multipurpose connector which is also currently used by the DP-100 series of digital pressure sensors.


Improved maintenance and workability significantly reduces total cost
The processing cost of the connector cables can be drastically reduced through the use of commercially-available crimping connectors.

PM-24 series contributes to the miniaturization or space saving of your equipment.


Equipped with two independent outputs
All models are equipped with two independent outputs-Light-ON and Dark-ON. Hence, one model suffices even if the output is to be used differently, depending upon the location of use. Also, since two independent outputs have been provided, cumbersome handling of the output conversion control input, or fear of logic inversion due to a cable
break, is eliminated. The sensor can be connected to the existing wiring as it is.

Wide model variety
A wide variety of 5 shapes and 15 models is available. You may select from this wide range to suit the mounting conditions.
Meets global requirements
Conforms to Europe’s EMC Directive and obtains UL Recognition. Both, NPN and PNP output models are available.
The PM-□24 has also obtained Korea’s S-mark certification.

Quick fitting hook-up connector
Easy to maintain connector type models are available. Its exclusive connector is the hookup connector. Since only crimping with exclusive pliers is to be done, cumbersome soldering or insulation is absolutely not required. Further, connector attached cable is also available.

A wide variety of 12 shapes and 24 models is available.
You may select from this wide range to suit the mounting conditions.
Meets global requirements

The NPN output type with cable (excluding 3 m 9.843 ft cable length type) has also obtained Korea’s Smark certification.

Stable detection by convergent reflective mode
Stable detection characteristics are obtained since it is convergent reflective type and senses a limited area.


Hardly affected by background
Even a specular background does not affect the sensing performance if the sensor is located 30 mm 1.181 in away from it.
(However, the specular background should be a plane surface, directly facing the sensor. A spherical or curved background may be detected.)


Dark object detectable
Since the sensor is very sensitive, it can detect even a dark object of low reflectivity.


Cable type is also available
Cumbersome soldering is not required.
It saves space and improves reliability.


Minute object detectable A ø0.05 mm ø0.002 in copper wire can be detected at a distance of 5 mm 0.197 in under the optimum condition.
